When to start using anti-aging care?
Anti-aging is often associated with drastic, invasive procedures that older people undergo. We disagree. Anti-aging is the entirety of measures aimed at prolonging a youthful appearance – it includes aesthetic medicine treatments, but starts with home care.

Components of anti-aging care
Day care
Daily care aimed at anti-aging is based primarily on protection against the factors that most accelerate the skin aging process. This focuses on two main factors:
Antioxidation
Free radicals are the biggest problem for our skin. They break down tissues molecule by molecule until it becomes visible to the “naked eye” on the surface of the entire skin. Antioxidation is the provision of free radical molecules with which they can bond without breaking existing bonds in skin tissues.
Photoprotection
The sun is the factor that is most difficult to protect against. Thanks to the growing awareness of the public, it is no longer necessary to mention that sun protection is used all year round, not just in the summer.
Providing the skin with antioxidant protection and photoprotection combined with hydration is all the skin needs in a daytime anti-aging treatment.
Night care
Nighttime is a crucial time for the active ingredients contained in creams. The skin is not irritated by external factors – sun, wind, pollution, light.
Acids
Reducing the thickness of the stratum corneum is the first step to improving and rejuvenating the appearance of the skin. Glycolic acid stimulates skin cell renewal, exfoliating dead skin and revealing fresh, soft skin.
Vitamin A
Retinol is one of the most appreciated molecules in anti-aging care (and beyond). When used at night, it stimulates cell renewal of the skin and intensively smooths it.
A combination of acids, vitamin A and careful cleansing – remembering the occasional enzyme scrub is enough for an effective anti-aging overnight treatment.
When to start using anti-aging care?
It is said that anti-aging care is made for people over 40, when the skin begins to visibly age – sagging, wrinkles become pronounced. We consider it a myth. As seen in the previous paragraph, anti-aging care is not just about “rejuvenating creams.” Anti-aging treatment is much more effective when used as a prophylaxis, existing changes already formed under the influence of time are more difficult to reverse (although it is not impossible).
Answer: anti-aging care is best introduced around 25. year of age. At this age, physiological aging of the skin begins, it loses collagen, which is responsible for its elasticity.
