Why “dottore”?

A Polish brand with an Italian name – why yes?

What does this mean for us? The genesis of the dottore brand name derives from two important elements.

The word dottore in Italian literally translated means doctor, educated person and scholar. By introducing ourselves in this way, we want to emphasize our desire and commitment to create and offer trustworthy products. Their formula is to be based on knowledge and years of experience, and the quality and effectiveness of their performance is to be constantly verified.

In turn, “cosmeceutici” means cosmeceuticals. This word even in Polish raises doubts, so we dispel doubts once and for all

Why does the Polish brand introduce itself in Italian? The slogan “medicine for beauty” did not come from nowhere. Our company is related to aesthetic medicine, and this has its cradle in Italy. When this field of knowledge was just sprouting in Poland (more than 20 years ago), Italian doctors shared their research with extraordinary kindness and selflessness, helping to educate the first Polish specialists.

They share their rich experience even today, although now Polish doctors are an equal partner for them in co-creating and supporting the development of European aesthetic medicine.

The third pillar, less known because it was a little less media-savvy, on which dottore stood was demand. Dr. Waldemar Jankowiak – the brand’s originator and founder – spent years seeing patients, performing treatments and finding the best home care products for each of them. He didn’t find any that he could vouch for, that he considered good enough to recommend to you That’s when dottore cosmeceutici was created – out of the need for effective home carej, in tribute to the knowledge and experience of aesthetic medicine.

The first product of our brand was a rejuvenating novocream with 8% glycolic acid.
